Why

Most people drink coffee every single day and still feel unsure about what they’re actually buying. The industry made it complicated on purpose — too much ego, too much posturing, too much “if you don’t drink it like this, you’re doing it wrong.”

Gradient exists to cut through all that noise.

We teach you what you need to know, explain flavor in real language, and help you choose a roast you’ll genuinely enjoy — whether you’re a ride-or-die dark roast drinker or you’re curious about trying a bright Ethiopian for the first time. There’s room for all of it here. That’s the whole point. Coffee has a gradient, and everyone sits somewhere on it. Our job is to help you find that spot.
